bring me my food, please!

I gave into the convenience of delivery and ordered groceries online last night. Since arriving in NYC I've found food shopping to be a huge pain. The grocery stores are either...

1. far away
or
2. very expensive
or
3. way over crowded

or for the most part all of the above!

So after talking to some people and doing a bit of research I found that...

1. people eat most of their meals out
or
2. order their groceries online
or
3. go to the store and purchase the groceries and have them delivered by the store

I decided my best option was to order my groceries online. I filled up my cart from the comfort of my couch yesterday without fighting crowds and without having to worry about how I would carry everything back to my apartment with my ten fingers and two arms. Tonight my food arrived directly to my door. Thank you Fresh Direct!

Looks like you solved the problem and got the extra hands to help. This would be quite an adjustment not to just jump in the car and drive to the grocery.
Take care. Love, Gma

How interesting! I wonder what people did before the internet would deliver their food.
